Helping to Fight Brain Cancer
Kyla, was diagnosed at 23 with a stage IV Glioblastoma brain tumor and underwent treatment at UCSF. Kyla worked part time at the University of Oregon in Eugene and has a six-year-old daughter, Emma and a one-year-old daughter, Lucy. Kyla was the daughter of Vonda and Dave Evans of Springfield and Mike and Toni Phillips of Baker City and the granddaughter of Mae Fuzi, Leroy Phillips, Mabel Dreher and Max and Delpha Evans.

The Kyla Nagel Cancer Fund trust account has been established to help in the research efforts to fight brain cancer. Kyla loved UCSF and appreciated all that was done for her to help fight this disease. If you would like to honor Kyla's name, you can donate to UCSF or the National Brain Tumor Foundation in the following way.

Checks can be made payable to the Kyla Nagel Cancer Fund which was established for Kyla's medical treatments and at the direction of Kyla will be donated in her name to both funds.
